What is a Risk Score, and which sources are checked during an AML analysis?

The Risk Score is determined based on on-chain interactions: an analysis of the direct and indirect connections between your wallet and various platforms, clusters, and resources. Depending on the reputation of these sources, a final risk percentage is assigned to the transaction.

All sources on the blockchain are categorized into three groups: Trusted, Suspicious, and High-risk.

High-risk Sources

A link between funds and these specific markers most often results in the transaction being blocked and a request for full KYC verification:

• Dark Market: Funds that have passed through illegal marketplaces hidden within the dark web.
• Dark Service: Payments made for—or funds received in exchange for—illegal services within the dark web segment of the internet.
• Mixer: Services specifically designed to obfuscate transaction trails and anonymize funds (often used to launder stolen assets).
• Scam: Cryptocurrency obtained through user deception, Ponzi schemes, or phishing attacks.
• Stolen Coins: Coins acquired through hacking attacks, exchange breaches, or theft from third-party wallets.

The presence of these markers increases the overall Risk Score and may trigger a manual review of the transaction:

• Unlicensed P2P Exchanges: Platforms facilitating peer-to-peer (P2P) exchanges that fail to comply with user identification requirements.
• ATMs (Crypto ATMs): Funds deposited via offline terminals, due to their traditionally weak identity verification procedures.
• Liquidity Pools: Smart contracts within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. While not inherently illicit, they are frequently used to obfuscate transaction trails.

Trusted Sources

Transfers from these sources result in a low Risk Score and are processed automatically by the Kassa.cc service:

• Licensed Exchanges: Major cryptocurrency exchanges that strictly adhere to KYC/AML procedures.
• Miners: "Clean" cryptocurrency received as a reward for mining blocks.
• Wallet (Personal Wallets): Funds from clean, non-custodial wallets with no history of negative interactions.

A transaction hash (or TXID) is a unique digital identifier assigned to each cryptocurrency transaction on the blockchain.
TXID allows you to:
- Confirm that funds have been sent

The accelerated exchange rate assumes a static amount of receipt on the application. With this option, regardless of market fluctuations, exactly the amount specified in the application will be credited to your account.

There may be different reasons. In order for the exchange to be completed successfully, please make sure that you have done everything correctly:

1. Check if you have specified your details for the transfer correctly (wallet, account or card). If the details are incorrect, your application will receive the status«Error», after which you will receive an email with a description of the reason. If your application is processed using incorrect details, a refund is not possible. We recommend that you carefully check the accuracy of the data specified before creating an application;
2. Check if the funds have been debited from your account. If we do not see any receipts from you, the application will be deleted;
3. The transfer may be delayed by the payment system or bank. In this case, we are unable to speed up the process, all you can do is wait. To find out the reasons for the delay, you can call or write to the technical support of your payment system or bank;

When creating an application on our service, you always have the opportunity to track its status. At the moment, you can do this in two ways.

1. Log in to our website and go to your personal account in the “My Applications” section. Here you can see your application number, the date and time of its creation, as well as its current status. If the status of your application is “Application completed”, it means that it has been processed and the funds have been sent to the details you specified.
2. Our website automatically sends all system notifications to your email address, which you specified during registration. If you are unable to check the status of your application in your personal account on our website, you can always find this information in your email.

The speed of processing the application depends on the chosen exchange direction. There may also be other reasons:

1. The first and most common reason is not that the application was not created. Remember that if you failed to click the ‘I paid’ button, the creation of your application may not be considered finished. If you accidentally close or refresh the page with this button, write to our online support and we will help you with this problem;

2. Check if you have written off the funds from your account when transferring. Perhaps you did not take into account the commission of the PS or the Bank, and you did not have enough funds for the transfer. Or for some technical reasons, the PS or the Bank did not allow your transfer. Be careful! Delayed transaction confirmation can be caused by the following reasons:

You can independently calculate the time for transaction confirmation. Go to btc.com. Here you can see the current average cost of a byte and the approximate confirmation time for a transaction with a particular commission.

If you have already sent bitcoin and your transaction is not confirmed, do not worry. On average, a transaction can “hang” for several hours, in rare cases for several days. The funds will eventually reach the recipient or return back to your wallet.

If you have made an exchange for cryptocurrency, after your request is executed, you can find the transaction link in your personal account on our website.

If you didn’t get a confirmation letter within 24 hours starting from the time of registration. First of all you need to make sure that you entered the correct e-mail address.  Some mail services may perceive such letters as unwanted and mark them as spam or not delivered. The following steps can help to solve a problem:

1. Make sure that you entered the correct e-mail. Go through the registration procedure again. If a message appears that the email address is busy, e-amail was entered correctly.
